Amari Galle





Sri Lanka’s first Amari hotel is located on the much-talked-about southern coast standing before a quiet sandy beach in the coastal village of Gintota. Three miles south is the historic city of Galle and just nine miles north is the surfing hotspot Hikkaduwa. Amari’s penchant for colour is reflected in the hotel’s red sun umbrellas, deep blue pool and the sea and sun inspired rooms.

The 172 ocean-facing rooms are housed in the high rising curved resort style building. The rooms are named Deluxe Ocean View, Deluxe terrace Ocean View, Grand Deluxe Ocean View, One Bedroom Suite and Presidential Suite. These have a bright clean and simplistic ambiance. The spacious living spaces feel light and airy and modern and comfortable. All rooms can sleep up to 3 persons. In-room amenities include a King or Twin bed, private balcony, 40” LED TV, free WiFi, radio, multimedia hub, ironing facilities, work desk, alarm clock, mini bar and coffee and tea making facilities. The luxurious bathrooms come with rain showers, bathrobes, slippers, shaver point and hairdryer. Room facilities also include in-room dining, wake-up service and turn-down service. Deluxe Terrace Ocean View Rooms have a private terrace with two sun loungers and the Presidential Suite has a terrace with Jacuzzi. Interconnecting rooms, extra beds and cots can be requested and seven disabled-accessed rooms are available on the second floor.



Weligama Bay Marriott Resort and Spa








Weligama Bay is Sri Lanka’s first hotel owned by the global hotel chain, Marriott International. The hotel is situated on the Weligama Bay in the Southern coastal village of Weligama, which is famous for year round surfing. Moments away from Weligama, is Mirissa, Sri Lanka’s most popular whale-watching destination.

The resort offers spacious 198 contemporarily designed rooms and suites with floor to ceiling glass windows for unhindered ocean vistas. Guests have a choice of 6 different room types to choose from and four different suites. All rooms have stunning views of Weligama Bay and private balconies with seating to indulge in its beauty. Some rooms have a dedicated outdoor space. The rooms and suites are furnished with plush bedding, oversized soaking tubs, 55” flat screen TVs, a living/sitting area and table with seating for two. In-room amenities also include free WiFi, phone, lighted makeup mirror, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facility, mini fridge, mini bar, bottled water, hair dryer, robe, slippers, and an ergonomic desk and chair with electrical outlets. Cribs are permitted and connecting rooms and mobility accessible rooms are available. A spacious day bed is also provided and most rooms are designed to comfortably sleep, three adults.




Amaya Hills



Amaya Hills is one of Kandy’s best-appointed traditional hotels, rivalling the likes of Earls Regency, Mahaweli Reach and The Citadel for your attention. It has the finest views, standing amid steep, wooded hills about 15 minutes above the town, a peaceful land of beautiful sunsets and wispy morning mists. It has an authentic Sri Lankan feel, rising from the foothills of the hill country in traditional Kandyan colours of red, yellow and black, while murals, flags and massive carved columns emphasise a rich historical past. Every effort is made to provide a special Sri Lankan experience.

Accommodation consists of 100 a/c rooms that are categorised into Deluxe Rooms, Superior Rooms, Junior Suites and Suites. In-room facilities include cable TV, minibar and coffee/tea facilities, safe and attached bathroom with h/w. All rooms can be tripled on request.


Deluxe Rooms: Influenced by Kandyan architecture, these rooms are scattered across the ground, first and second floors. Well-appointed with queen-sized beds, the rooms open out to a balcony or terrace with views of the swimming pool and the distant lush green valleys. Ensuite bathroom has a bath and shower.

Superior Rooms: Incorporating wooden accents with rich colours and Kandyan architecture, these rooms are found in the first and second floors. Aptly spacious, the room features a queen-sized bed and is large enough for families. The balcony opens out to views of the well-maintained garden and the attached bathroom comes with a bathtub and shower.

Junior Suite: Located on the ground, first and second floors, these suites consist of a separate living area and a large master bedroom. Affording views of the surrounding hill country, these suites feature a queen-sized bed and are ideal for families. Ensuite bathroom has the same facilities as above.

Suite: Occupying the second floor, the suites consist of a sitting area and two large bedrooms – a master bedroom and a loft bedroom, both featuring king-sized beds. Each Suite has two bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. Tastefully designed to reflect 18th century Kandyan décor, the room offers stunning views of the scenic surroundings.



UGA Bay





uga Bay is one of the best-rated beach resorts in Sri Lanka, located on one of the best beaches in the country – Pasikudah of the eastern coast. The corals of the eastern sea are a few dozen steps away from the beach making it a snorkeler’s paradise. The WW2 wrecks further off the shore attract scuba divers who love underwater scenery, and the underground spa offers therapeutic relief for the mind and body. There are Hindu temples, traditional markets and a Dutch fort nearby to keep your curiosity alive.


Bay Suite


The suite has two bedrooms, a separate living area and a cantilevered open air plunge pool in complete privacy with stunning views of the Indian Ocean.


Beach Studio


The 22 Beach Studio rooms located on the ground floor have beach access as well as beach views.

Beach Villa


This is a romantic two-storied private villa by the sea with your own private open-air plunge pool and terrace. You have unobstructed views of the Bay, as well as private access to the beach through a green oasis, complete with a natural pond. It also has an outdoor bar, two bedrooms upstairs and a large living space with a dining area on the ground floor.




Avani Bentota






Situated along one of Sri Lanka’s best southern beaches is Avani Bentota, a designer hotel created by the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa. It has the vibe of an 18th century Dutch village and a contemporary style that caters to the luxury-minded. The ocean views are simply breathtaking, the green lawns are immaculate, and the list of thrilling water sports here are endless. Bentota has an array of attractions, some of which include the world-famous turtle hatchery, lush mangroves, tightrope walking toddy tappers, nearby ancient temples and the famous Galle Fort not very far from this seaside town.


Standard Rooms


These have beautiful ocean views and a balcony to watch the palm fringed beach and its sunsets. The rooms accommodate maximum 2 adults.

Superior Rooms


These rooms can occupy a maximum of 3 adults and are more spacious than standard rooms. It also has a beach view balcony.

Deluxe Rooms


They have a bath tub, a lounge area and outdoor spaces, and can accommodate maximum of 4 adults.


Sinharaja Rain Forest Eco Lodge



Sinharaja Rain Forest Eco Lodge in Sinharaja Rain Forest is one of the best places to stay when you want to explore Sinharaja Rain Forest. This is the only hotel situated INSIDE the rain forest as all other places are located by the border. This is located in Deniyaya (Southern side of Sinharaja Rain Forest) side, so the drive is about 3 hours from Galle and 5 hours from Colombo. Technically, the only hotel located inside Sinharaja Rain Forest. With the ever changing whether in the area, you will have the real feeling of living inside a rain forest.

This is an Eco tourism concept. All rooms/cabins are made up of cargo containers; hence the cement usage is minimized. All cabins are situated at the edge of hotel’s compound in the tea estate. View from the cabin is breathtaking as you can see the mist rolling through the tea garden and the thick canopied rain forest beyond.


When it comes to meals nothing special but freshly prepared meals with locally sourced or home grown fresh ingredients.In house restaurants serves local, western and eastern delicious food. Try the rice and curry !!

Trekking in Sinharaja Rain Forest is the thing to do at Sinharaja Rain Forest Eco Lodge. As the hotel is inside the rain forest, you can simply walk to the forest at your will and of course with the guidance of the expert naturalists at the hotel.
